The Greater Knoxville FTZ #148 was established in 1989 to support international trade and help expand our region's economy. The Zone serves the Knoxville Port of Entry which includes Knox, Anderson and Blount and the 10 contiguous outlying counties integral to our regional economy. FTZ #148 currently consists of 5 general purpose zones and 1 special purpose sub-zone.
